Does it cost extra?
No. The desktop app is free with every FindMyPhotos plan, including the free trial.
Do I need a new account?
No. Log in with the account you already use: your events, albums and settings are all there.
What happens if my PC restarts in the middle of an upload?
Open the app again and the upload goes on from where it was. Photos already in the album are never sent twice.
Can I keep working in Lightroom while it uploads?
Yes. Minimize it or put other windows over it: it keeps uploading at full speed.
Which computers does it run on?
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), and Macs with an Apple chip or Intel running macOS 12 or newer.
Does it update itself?
On Windows a new version installs itself when you close the app. On a Mac the app tells you when a new version is ready.
Can I still upload from my browser?
Yes. The browser keeps working as always; the desktop app is the faster way.
